Hi there! Breakfast is the first mealtime of the day. Can’t survive my morning without breakfast though breakfast meals differ generally in diverse cultures all over the world often consist of carbohydrate such as rice, cereals, fruits and vegetables, dairy and beverage.
But among all the breakfast meals, the best for me are toasted bread, either with garlic toppings or cheese toppings and sunny side up egg, doesn’t really matter as long as there’s toasted bread.
Mom said ones “Fruits and veges and good too! Why don’t you try them?”. I just said “Of course there good but nothing taste best for me, except for toasted bread” We have this conversation every morning, she just doesn’t give up on suggesting breakfast for me. Though she still toast me bread single everyday, she still keeps on suggesting other food.
I can’t imagine life without toast bread. What would things be if toasters where never invented? I can imagine myself sitting in front of the chimney holding a long-handled fork with sliced bread at the end. It’ll be really hard toasting bread and takes a lot of time too. I give all my thanks to William Hoskins for inventing the best kitchen appliance invented the toaster. With the toaster I can eat my favorite toasted bread not only every morning but every time I wanted.
We use the toaster everyday. We toast bread for a yummy breakfast in the morning, heat our food with the oven toaster during lunch but how does a toaster really works? I’m wondering myself, how does it really works and how does it know when to pop-up?
According to what I’ve read, toasters works with the same idea with hair dyers or heater and that is they convert electrical energy to heat energy.
The device is plug into a source of electricity. Electric current runs from your wall socket along the wire and into the appliance. Electricity is generated by power plants and are stored inside batteries and the likes while heat is a kind of energy.
When electricity enters the plug and flows through the wire, energy is then transmitted from one end of the wire to another. The flow is like water flowing down a pipe. These are all possible through the tiny particles inside the atoms of metal that composed the wire, more widely known as electrons. The electrons collide with each other while the electricity flows, during this process the atoms in the metal wire gives off heat. Then, there you have it your toasted bread.
